Siglo XXI de miedo e infamia - 21st century of fear and turpitude

Llegando el fin de año cometemos la torpeza de hacer balance, ejercicio que sólo sirve para ver que casi nada va mejor. Acabando el Siglo XX, voces de todos timbres y tonos clamaban por no repetir en el presente los errores del pasado. Y acertaron. Repetir errores no los hemos repetido, los hemos multiplicado. Y de paso hemos elevado un altar al miedo. La nueva religión.

The submission to the power of the money annuls the creative capacity of the human being. This piece is a humble scorn to the laws of the global economy that govern us. And of step an honoring to my admired Magritte and Gainsbourg.

Un poco de diseño - A bit of design

 Diseños de cartel para el concurso Francisco Mantecón. El concepto era mejor que la ejecución. No estoy entre los finalistas. Aún así me lo pasé muy bien haciendo este ejercicio de pseudo-diseño.

Sueño con serpientes - I dream of serpents

Título tomado de una canción de Silvio. El tul sobrante del Pazo de Tor remata esta pieza extraña, donde nada es lo que parece. Debajo de la pintura se esconde un monstruo (inofensivo).

Title taken of a Silvio's song. The remaining tulle of Tor's Pazo finishes off this strange piece, where nothing is what seems. Under the painting one hides a (inoffensive) monster.
