Les amants de Saint-Ouen

Les amants de Saint-Ouen, acabada hace unos días. Esta pintura está inspirada en la fotografía de Doisneau "Le Muguet du Metro", realizada en 1953. Es una más de esas muchas fotografías de escenas compuestas por el genial fotógrafo Robert Doisneau, utilizando modelos profesionales, pero siempre evocando escenas naturalistas donde, como en la famosa "el beso del Hotel de Ville", el fotógrafo quiere ilustrar un instante cotidiano, por muy provocado que sea.

Saint-Ouen lovers, ended a few days ago. This painting is inspired in Doisneau's photography "The Metropolitain Muguet", realized in 1953. It is one more of these many photographies of scenes composed by the brilliant photographer Robert Doisneau, using professional models, but always evoking naturalistic scenes where, since in the famous one "the kiss of Ville's Hotel", the photographer wants to illustrate a daily instant.

Mauricio ou le muguet du Mimosa

Acabada hoy, "Mauricio ou le muguet du Mimosa", está basada en la fotografía de Doisneau "Le Mimosa", de 1952, de su serie de imágenes tomadas en bistrots (en este caso Le Mimosa). En mi versión, toma importancia "le muguet", símbolo del 1º me mayo, y por extensión de los trabajadores. En estos tiempos de eres a diestro y siniestro, se trata de un sincero homenaje a los trabajadores que construyeron el mundo de comodidades en el que vivimos. De paso, un pequeño guiño a otro enorme artista, Mauricio Aznar (DEP).

Ended today, "Mauricio or the muguet du Mimosa", is based on Doisneau's photography "Le Mimosa", of 1952, of his series of images taken in bistrots (in this case Le Mimosa). In my version, it takes importance "le muguet ", symbol of the 1st May, and for extension of workers. In these times of "eres", it is a question as a sincere honoring the workers who constructed the world of comforts in which we live. it is also a small honnour to a enormous artist, Mauricio Aznar (DEP).

Le violon de Monsieur Francisco - Don Francisco's double-bass

Tercera pintura de la serie inspirada en fotografías de Robert Doisneau. Esta en concreto está inspirada en una instantánea de 1957 titulada "D'eau majeure". No es una de las fotografías más representativas del genial fotógrafo francés, pero la elegí porque me recordó, de repente, al perro de Goya. De ahí el título de la pintura.
El perro de Goya, sin embargo, tiene una desolación en el rostro que no es la misma del músico de Doisneau, que más bien parece simpática resignación.
Ahí está, en todo caso, "Le violon de Monsieur Francisco".

Third painting of the series inspired by Robert Doisneau's photographies. This one in concrete is inspired in 1957 photo titled "D'eau majeure". It is not one of the most representative photographies of the brilliant French photographer, but I chose her because he resembled me, suddenly, the dog of Goya. Of there, the title of the painting. The dog of Goya, nevertheless, has a desolation in the face that is not the same of the musician of Doisneau, who rather looks like a nice resignation. Trabajo en evolución - Work in progress

La primera de la serie dedicada a Doisneau ya está "en fase terminal". Me costó un horror mantener el control, en este nuevo viaje a la figuración, ¿será que ya me he abstraído?
